Having wanted to exhibit in the city of Sydney for the longest time, I finally opened my first exhibition in the city of Original Works recently on the 10th of November 2018 in the new ‘Drawing Room’ at Langham Sydney. With beautiful views of Sydney Harbour, and so much light, this was the perfect space to exhibit. Decorated with peonies, roses and Curvee Rosé Champagne by Laurent Perrier. (One of my favourite collaborations of the year!)
Having arrived to Sydney two days before the big day, we helped set up the space, and organise. Everything came together on the day, including a gorgeous pink media wall decorated with pink blooms. Whilst most of the exhibition was of original pieces. (I always think it’s lovely to see original art in real life, rather than just through a screen), we also had a selection of framed Art Prints as part of the exhibition too.
Once guests began arriving right on one pm on Saturday with everyone in the best mood, we knew this would be a wonderful event! So much so that whilst we had planned (and you may have read this in the press) that the exhibition would run for some time, with most of the pieces selling on the day and being picked up straight after, it was clear that I will have to exhibit again in Sydney so that those who couldn’t make this opening, can also see the artworks in person.
Thank you so much to all of those who came along, I adored meeting everyone! Thank you too to Langham Sydney and Laurent Perrier for being a wonderful part of this event.
